FOR SALE $6000 | contact Mike

This sporty was done for a good buddy of mine Rob. I had worked with Rob on other projects in the past and he one of the easiest going guys I've met. The bike started as a bone stock 1974 xlh that Rob picked up for a fair price, it was a good running bike from the start but "good" wasn't good enough and neither was "stock". Rob tore the bike down after riding it around for a day and handed me the motor to rebuild using all the top notch parts we could find for the ironhead. He stripped the frame, tacked up the hardtail and brought it to the shop for the reconstruction.

With the motor completed it was slipped into the frame for mock up, first off was the custom exhaust, designed, cut, and welded by Brian over at French Kiss Kustoms. All of Rob's bikes have had a hand shifter and this one would be no different so it was swapped from a right hand shift to a foot clutch and left side hand shifter. Rob was heavily involved in the build and fab work on the bike including the rear fender and sissybar. He did let myself and Brian run rampant with the design and fab on the bike not knowing what would be done till the next time he'd stop by the shop.

The candy orange paint and graphics where laid down by Jerry Laughridge with Rob coming up with the overall scheme. We topped the build off with some pegs and pedals designed by us as well as plenty of brass accents in and around the bike. The final touch was the small chrome and brass air cleaner on the S&S carb. So far the bike runs like a champ and Robs' been riding the wheels off it!
